Wash Goat Meat and Drain Excess Water

Slice Onion

Sautee Onions and Ginger Garlic Paste

Add Spices

Sautee Spices over Medium Heat

Add Goat Meat

Mix and Add additional Spices

Cook over High Heat

Continue to Cook over Medium Heat until Meat is Soft

Goat Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion (Thinly Sliced)
  • 2 Tbsp. Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tsp. Turmeric
  • 1/2 Tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Paprika
  • 3 Tsp. Cumin Coriander Spice
  • 3 Tbsp. Water
  • 1.75 Lbs. of Goat Meat
  • 3/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 3 Cardamom
  • 1 Small Stick of Cinnamon
  • 5 Cloves
  • 1/4 Tsp. Red Peppercorns
  • 1 Bay Leaf

Method

  1. In a 3 Quart Pot, over Medium Heat, Add Olive Oil, Onions, Ginger Garlic Paste, and Sautee for 1 Minute
  2. Add Turmeric, Chili Powder, and Paprika, Cumin Coriander Spice, and Sautee for about Minute; Add Water if it starts to get too Dry
  3. Add Goat Meat, Salt, and Mix; Turn Heat to High
  4. Add Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Peppercorns, and Bay Leaf to Pot; Cover Pot, and Cook on High Heat for about 10 to 12 Minutes; Stir Once or Twice
  5. Turn Heat to Medium High, and Cook with Cover on for another 10 to 12 Minutes; Stir Meat Once or Twice so that it Cooks evenly
  6. Turn Heat to Medium and Cook for another 8 to 10 Minutes; Meat should be cooked by now
  7. Serve with White or Brown Rice
