Chicken Curry with Fingerling Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 Small Onion (Finely Diced)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive OIl
  • 3 Heaping Tsp. Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Tomatoes (Cut in 8 Pieces)
  • 3/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Chili Powder
  • 2 Heaping Tsp. Garam Masala
  • 1 Small Chicken (Cut in 8 Pieces)
  • 1 Small Stick of Cinnamon Bark
  • 2 Cardamom Pods
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 10 Black Pepercorns (Crushed)
  • 10 Fingerling Potatoes

Method

  1. In a Large Pot over Medium Heat, add Olive Oil, Onions, Ginger Garlic Paste, Tomatoes, Salt, Turmeric, Chili Powder, and Garam Masala
  2. Add Chicken, Stir and Cook in Covered Pot for another 5 Minutes over Medium High Heat
  3. Add Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Bay Leaf, Black Peppercorn, and Potatoes
  4. Cover Pot and Cook for 15 to 20 Minutes Stirring Chicken every 5 to 6 Minutes untill it's fully cooked
  5. Serve with White or Brown Rice

Instead of Fingerling Potatoes, you can of course use any other variety of Potato.
