I came across this article last night, I had never heard of Gayna Bori before then. Bori’s of course yes! They are a special treat in my family often cooked with eggplants. I even remember my mother’s chachi (paternal uncles wife) making Bori’s from scratch when she came to visit us in Massachusetts one summer.
