Coconut Shrimp Torkari

Serves: 4 to 6


  • 20 Large Shrimp (about 1 Lb.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tsp. Cumin Coriander Spice
  • 1 Red Chili Pepper (Cut in 1/4" Pieces)
  • 2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
  • 6 Cloves of Garlic (Thinly Sliced)
  • 1 Bunch of Asparagus (Cut in 1-1/2" Long Pieces)
  • 3 Hungarian Peppers (Cut in 1/4" Slices)
  • 2 Tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 Large Red Onion (Cut in 1/4" Thick Slices)
  • 12 Stalks of Scallions (Cut in 1-1/2" Long Pieces)


  1. In a Medium Bowl, Marinate Shrimp with Ginger Garlic Paste, Red Chili Pepper, and Cumin Coriander Spice and Set aside
  2. In a Large Frying Pan or Wok, Add Coconut Oil over High Heat, and Add Garlic
  3. Add Asparagus to Pan and Sautee for a Minute; Add Hungarian Peppers and Sautee for Another Minute
  4. Add Red Onions and Sautee for a Minute; Add Shrimp and Sautee for about 5 Minutes
  5. Add Scallions, Mix, and Continue to Cook over High heat for Another 2 Minutes; Turn Heat Off and Serve with White Rice
