Fennel Chicken Curry

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Bulb of Fennel (Cut in Long Pieces)
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes (Cut in Long Pieces)
  • 1 Small Onion (Cut in Long Pieces)
  • 3 Tsp. Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Tsp. Cumin Coriander Spice
  • 1 Small skinless Chicken (Cut in 8 Pieces)
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 10 White Peppercorns (Crushed)
  • 2 Green Cardamoms
  • 6 Cloves
  • 1 Small Stick of Cinnamon


  1. In a Large Pot over Medium Heat, Add Olive Oil, Onions, Tomatoes, and Fennel
  2. Sautee for about 2 Minutes over Medium Heat
  3. Add Ginger Garlic Paste, and Cumin Coriander Spice, and Mix
  4. Add Chicken, and Mix
  5. Add Salt, Peppercorns, Cardamom, Cloves, and Cinnamon, and Mix
  6. Cover Pot and Cook over Medium High Heat for about 10 Minutes (Stiring at least once)
  7. Turn Heat to Medium Heat and Cook for another 10 Minutes
  8. Turn off Heat once Chicken is Cooked. Serve with White Rice.
