Cook Time: 20 mins
Yields: 4 to 8


  • 2 Tsp. Ghee
  • 2 Shallots (Thinley Sliced)
  • 1 Tsp. Ginger (Thinly Diced)
  • 1 Black Cardamom
  • 2 Cups of Wild Rice Blend (I usually use Rice Select Brand White, Brown, Wild & Red Rice Blend)
  • 4 Cups Boiled Water
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 20 Stalks of Cilantro (Chopped)


  1. In a Large Pot over Medium Heat, Add Ghee, Shallots, and Ginger; Sautee for 1 to 2 Minutes
  2. Add Black Cardamom
  3. Wash Rice and Remove excess Water
  4. Add Rice and Sautee for 2 to 3 Minutes
  5. Add Hot Water and Salt; Cover Pot, and Cook for about 15 Minutes over Medium High Heat
  6. Add Cilantro and Mix
  7. Turn off Heat and Serve
