Parsnip Sautee

  • 6 Medium sized Parsnips (Peeled and Cut into approx. 2"x1/8"x1/8" Pieces)
  • 1 Small Onion/Shallot (thinly Sliced)
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 6 Black Peppercorns (Crushed)
  • 6 White Peppercorns (Crushed)


  1. In a large Frying Pan/Wok over Medium High Heat, Add Olive Oil, Onion, Salt, and Parsnip, and Sautee
  2. Add Bay Leaf, and Crushed Pepper
  3. Cook for about 20 Minutes until Parsnip is Cooked, Stirring every few minutes so it cooks evenly
  4. Serve as a Side Dish
